| UF Delegation Visited China Ministry of Education and Universities Beijing, China –March 27-31, 2006, Dr. William Riffee, Associate Provost, Dr. Dennis Jett, Dean of International Center, and Dr. Ian Tebbett, Associate Dean of College of Distance, Continuing Education, had meetings at the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, and the China National Institute for Educational Research. They also visited the Tsinghua University, the Peking University, the Fudan University and the Zhengzhou University. On behalf of the University of Florida, Dr. Riffee and Dr. Jett signed the cooperative agreement for Distance Education between UF and the Tsinghua University. They also signed a Cooperative Agreement with the Zhengzhou University.
2006年03月27日－31日：UF副校长William Riffee一行访问北京 2006年03月27日－31日，UF副校长William Riffee博士、国际学院院长Dennis Jett博士及远程与继续教育学院副院长Ian Tebbett博士一行先后访问了国家教育部国际交流司、教育部中央教育科研所、清华大学、北京大学、复旦大学和郑州大学，并与各单位相关领导进行了会谈。会谈的内容涉及国际教育和合作的各个方面。会议取得了良好的成果，为佛罗里达大学与各方下一步的合作交流打下了基础。
