(University of Florida Electronic Delivery of Graduate
Engineering). UF EDGE helps technical professionals update

Students may study part-time via the Internet. After successfully
completed all the requirements, the student will receive the
Master Degree from the University of Florida, same as the
on-campus students.

distance learning technologies accessible at the workplace,

UF EDGE programs are delivered either via streaming video or DVD
directly to the student. hese are the same courses taught by
University of Florida College of Engineering faculty on
campus. Courses are supplemented by additional course
material and interaction.

Admission
Applicants must have:
l
A bachelor of science degree in engineering with
a cumulative GPA of a least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
l
GRE Quantitative >= 650, GRE Verbal >= 400
l
For international students whose first language
is not English, a minimum score of 600 on the Test of
English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required to be
excused from English language course requirements.

Master’s degree programs ofered through UF EDGE are
non-thesis. A non-thesis master’s degree requires the
completion of ten 3-semester credit hour courses as outlined
in the degree curriculum. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
is required for graduation.
UF-EDGE提供的硕士学位课程无需写论文。学生必须完成学位教学大纲中要求的10门3学分的学位课程。要达到毕业要求,其GPA平均分数不得低于3.0。
